Enterprise Integration (EI) is a group within the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at UW-Madison. We are dedicated to designing, developing, and maintaining modern, high-quality interfaces to enterprise data. Our work empowers the teaching, learning, research, and administrative goals of the Universities of Wisconsin community through reliable APIs, data integration, and critical applications.
What we do
Enterprise Integration provides foundational digital infrastructure for the Universities of Wisconsin community. Our group consists of three specialized teams:
- API Team: Develops and manages core enterprise APIs like the Person API, enabling secure and standardized access to institutional data, and maintains the UW Developer Portal (Apigee). Go to API Team page
- Integration Team: Manages UW-Madison’s low-code/no-code integration platform (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services or IICS), builds complex data integrations, and consults on integration best practices, empowering teams to connect systems securely and efficiently. Go to Integration Team page
- ROAD Team: Partners closely with the UW-Madison Office of the Registrar to develop and maintain essential student-facing and administrative applications, including Course Search & Enroll, DARS, and curricular data APIs. Go to ROAD Team page
